Captivating Copperplate

I don't ever remember being so enchanted by a script! I am enjoying studying all of the variations of copperplate and finding it to be a very expressive hand. I used whole arm movement on these two pieces while listening to the movie Inkheart in the background. I used Clairefontaine triomphe paper for these practice pieces, Pelikan 4001 ink and an Esterbrook 357 nib.

Lovely and magical, Heather.

That is what I love most about copperplate - there are not so many uptight 'rules'!
