Healey Influence Flourish

Still playing with McCaffery brown. I think the bottle has finally had it but I got one last flourish out of it. The Healey exhibit was full of Victorian Illustrations. There were cherubs, floral studies, birds pulling carriages, Christmas themes, feathers, butterflies and the list goes on. This little wingless cherub was inspired by a Victorian engraving. I set him inside a little floral flourish. The water colour wash for the flowers is done with Albrecht Durer watercolor pencil. The piece is 4x6 on diploma parchment.
