Feeling Victorian

I saw an incredible Victorian lady flourish embellished with quills and birds in an ebay auction. I didn't win the auction but I was inspired to try my hand at the Victorian lady and embellish her with Ames style floral flourishes. This design was done with a Perry 28 which I had never tried before. I am going to send the flourish to my friend who was kind enough to send me the pen point to try out.

Heather, I think this is one of my favorite things you have done! Well, I love your leaves too. The Perry 28 is my favorite. Oh how I wish I had been the one to send you the pen!! :)
Love, Dana

Thanks Dana! Maybe the Perry still has another Victorian lady in it!

This is stunning! I can't even imagine being able to create such beauty without messing it all up. I just came across your blog and I'm so inspired. I've been in love with fine penmanship since childhood and now as an adult I'm perusing it with more dedication. As a beginner its talent like yours that spurs me on to practice practice practice! :)
